Why I Started the company

I started Connected Communities LLC as a way to foster deeper connection within my local community as well as communities everywhere. The purpose of my company is to connect people, businesses, and organizations to their own community in a fun, engaging, and memorable way. I have a strong passion for creative marketing, fundraising, event management, and strategic connections that add value to a variety of entities. I enjoy working on large scale projects with multiple management needs and my clients include sporting events, film festivals, grass roots non-profits, and small business owners.

What We Are All About

My commitment is to facilitate opportunities for individuals, businesses, and organizations of all sizes to create space for expansion while cultivating connection within their own communities and beyond. Staying in alignment, sharing, learning, and mentoring so that the definition of community becomes their identity rather than the space they occupy.

Who Am I?

I am a Cal Poly-SLO Alumni and have over 10 years’ experience in project management, marketing, public relations/community outreach, and non-profit organizations. While at CalPoly, I studied abroad in Madrid, Spain and engaged in both teaching English to business executives and international business ventures. I am now fluent in the Spanish language and love the opportunity to foster connection through my love of language and cultures. I currently sit on the Board of directors for NAWBO-National Association of Women Business Owners Central Coast Chapter as Corporate Partner Chair and was recently invited to join the board of the San Luis Obispo Children’s Museum. Apart from being a lover of life, travel, a good meal, inspiring others and impromptu dance parties, I am a risk taker and love a variety of challenges that foster the idea of being Bold!
